Core Practitioner Program
Our Core Practitioner Program is suitable for Behaviour Support Practitioners of all levels, as well as people looking to enter into a behaviour support role.
It will give you all of the knowledge and skills required for a successful and fulfilling career in positive behaviour support
Throughout the program, you will master a wide range of competencies including:
Risk management and safety planning
Conducting Functional Behaviour Assessments
Analysing data and identifying behavioural functions
Developing Behaviour Support Plans and mapping out participants’ journeys
Implementing person-centred support and effective time-management
Managing funding efficiently
Identifying and reducing restrictive practices
Reviewing intervention effectiveness through data collection and analysis
Reflecting and reviewing to enhance your practice
Continuing professional development and effective supervision
Practicing person-centred and trauma-informed care
Enhancing communication skills, setting boundaries and navigating complex care teams
